Make Your Fragrance Last Longer – How To Do It.

Perfumes give a fragrant and elegant scent to its users. It increases a person’s elegance and attractiveness in front of others. Perfumes are different and personal choices as well. So, the individual has to choose the appropriate fragrance that is consistent with his personality, style, and special taste. And well, you can make your fragrance last longer – this is how to do it.

Yes, some perfumes can last and stay on clothes for a long period of time, as long as they are used in the correct way to be mentioned below.

How to maintain the scent of your perfume

Fragrance adds a sensory layer to a person’s appearance, conveys an attitude or mood, and reflects his unique personality. Well, some choose to pick one scent throughout life, while others renew it as often as they wish.

Certainly, we all crave for an appropriate perfume that lasts throughout the day without fading.

The following are the thing you should resort to in order to optimize the fixation of your perfumes’ scent:

Choosing a fragrance with a stronger smell and concentration.

It is worth noting that the lines of perfume production and the manufacture have a major role in its strength. In addition to that, the more alcohol in perfumes the faster they lose their scent.

Actually, the perfume consists of three stages

  • The first stage is the one that the user smells when he starts the spraying process, but it evaporates quickly.
  • The middle stage is the body of the fragrance – It lasts longer on the skin,
  • The final stage lasts longer than the other stages.

The more concentrated the first stage, the more the fragrance will last on the body.

Putting the perfume immediately after the shower.

The perfume must be applied in the correct way that makes it more stable as well.

Allow your perfume to  be in constant contact with your skin and stay all day by applying it directly after the shower. Make sure to apply it to the body well – this helps in its longevity and the survival of the scent.

In addition to this, the perfume should be stored in the appropriate place so as not to lose any of its elements.

Spraying perfume on pulse places in the body

It’s very crucial to know the places of pulse on your body when spraying perfume. These places make it last for the longest possible time.

By the pulse places we mean those places behind the ear, at the wrist etc. The places are where the veins are closest to the skin, and thus help generate more heat which amplifies the scent. This method is the most reliable for immediate results in achieving stability of the fragrance.

Other ways of fixing  the scent of perfume

There are many ways of fixing the scent of perfume on the body in addition to those mentioned previously, and those are the following:

Putting perfume on the body before wearing clothes.

If the perfume is applied directly to the body, it will be activated by the body’s temperature, and thus it will remain on for the longest time possible.

Spray perfume instead of rubbing it.

Rubbing the perfume may crush some of its particles – which makes it smell completely different from what it should.

While spraying, the perfume bottle should be about 15-25 cm from the skin.

Moisturizing the skin using a perfume-free moisturizer before applying perfume.

This is because the fragrance lasts longer on oily skin than on a dry one.

Add some to your hair

Sprinkle a little perfume on your hairbrush, and then pass it on the hair regularly – this makes the fragrance smell for a long time.

Mix more than one type of perfume

Mixing more than one type of perfume in one bottle will produce a new and beautiful smell, which is probably stronger so that it can last longer.

When mixing them, mix two or three perfumes. You should also make sure that they have the same concentration, densit, and weight.

Store perfumes in appropriate places.

Your perfumes should be protected from moisture, heat and light. Store them in a dry place away from sunlight. When buying perfumes,  buy those in spray bottles, to avoid evaporation or chemical reactions occurring with the air every time you open it.

Buying…This reminds me of another useful point.

Some people prefer preparing home-made perfumes, which reflect their uniqueness and their own taste in choosing beautiful and fragrant scents.

Let’s see how you can do it.

How to make a home fragrance with a strong smell.

The home-made perfume is made by mixing a group of beautiful-smelling aromatic oils by using the ingredients below and following several steps:

  • 2 tablespoons of carrier oil such as jojoba oil, almond oil, or grape seed oil.
  • 6 tablespoons of alcohol.
  • 2.5 tablespoons of bottled water (not regular tap water).
  • 30 drops of essential oils, at least one drop of each oil: essential, medium, and high in terms of the strength of the scent.
  • Coffee filter.
  • Suppression.
  • 2 clean glass jars with the lid sealed.

  1. Put 2 tablespoons of the selected carrier oil in a bottle.
  2. Add the essential oils by 30 points to the container by dividing them and starting with the oils that have a simple smell, followed by the middle, then finish with the same strong smell so that it is the one with the highest percentage in the total points and constitutes 50% of its value, or about 15 points, but you must pay attention to that its smell is not overpowering Too much for the rest, then finally it is well mixed with the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Add high-quality alcohol to the mixture and stir well.
  1. Leave the perfume for at least 48 hours in the container with the lid closed tightly ( It can be left for up to 6 weeks for a stronger and more lasting scent)
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of bottled water, and shake the bottle vigorously for a minute. To make sure the contents are mixed well.
  3. Transfer the perfume  to another clean, dark bottle, and pour it into the container using a funnel.
  4. Now, you can name it and have the date of its manufacture written on it, to check its scent every now and then.
